Centrosome/cilium complex biogenesis and function

My laboratory aims to understand how cells carry out their diverse functions through the assembly and remodeling of dynamic cellular compartments. Specifically, we investigate the biology of cytoskeleton-based cellular structures and membrane-less organelles. Our research on centrosomes, cilia, and centriolar satellites focuses on uncovering the molecular and cellular basis of organelle heterogeneity and rare developmental disorders.
