Spinal cord development in health and disease
Our lab investigates the principles regulating spinal cord growth, shape and neuronal diversity during embryonic development, using animal models and human spinal cord organoids. We focus on signalling pathways and cellular mechanisms underlying early human spinal cord development and congenital malformations such as spina bifida.
