Mouse models of neurodegeneration

My group creates and analyses novel mouse models of neurodegenerative disease, to work out new mouse genetics technologies, and to learn about neurodegeration mechanisms. We focus on two areas: amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and on Down syndrome, particularly the Alzheimer disease that may arise with this syndrome. We are particularly interested in genomic humanisation of the mouse genome i.e. knocking in complete genes with introns and exons.
