Functional analysis of PI3K signaling

Our lab studies the function of PI3K enzymes in signal transduction. Currently our research focuses on the the role of class 1 and 2 PI3K isoforms in development, metabolism, and cancer. We also actively study kinase-dependent activity as well as kinase-independent scaffold functions of PI3K class 1 and 2, in cardiovascular pathology, airway diseases and cancer.
