My group investigates how sensory information is encoded and integrated in the brain, and how sensory representations interact with internal brain dynamics to enable adaptive behaviors and plasticity. To achieve this, we use a combination of functional brain imaging, neuroanatomy, physiology, behavioral assays, and associated data analysis in a small vertebrate, the zebrafish.
