Our research group investigates the regulation of cell division, the centrosome duplication cycle, and the causes of chromosomal changes in tumor cells. We focus on the characterization of protein kinases that play important roles in the regulation of centrosome duplication, ciliogenesis and chromosome segregation. We also study the assembly and dynamics of the mitotic spindle apparatus, with a special interest in kinetochore function.
