Regulation of mRNA translation and cancer

My group is interested in the regulation of mRNA translation during embryonic development and cell homeostasis. We aim to understand the molecular mechanisms of translational control exerted by RNA-binding proteins (RBPs), the broader functions of translation regulators at other steps of gene expression, and how RBP alterations contribute to cancer progression.
