Lysosomal recycling pathways in animals

My group studies multiple lysosomal degradation pathways including autophagy, crinophagy, endocytosis, and phagocytosis (e.g. LAP: LC3-associated phagosome maturation). Our research integrates targeted manipulation of genes in Drosophila and cultured human cells, protein biochemistry, proteomics and lipidomics, microscopy, animal development and physiology, including injury responses, lifespan, and behavior assays.
