I am a molecular ecologist mainly interested in the evolutionary history of populations and species along natural clines and on the response plasticity to climate and environmental changes in marine organisms, with particular focus on Mediterranean marine plants. In our research group, studies are performed both on the field and on mesocosms and encompass different levels of analysis, including physiological, transcriptomic and (epi)genomic.
