Understanding neurodevelopmental disorders
My group is interested in uncovering common pathophysiological mechanisms underlying genetic forms of neurodevelopmental disorders such as epilepsy, intellectual disability, and autism. By understanding these conditions at the systems, cellular, and molecular levels, we aim to establish a framework for developing new therapies and identifying novel pathogenic variants, ultimately advancing our knowledge of the human brain.
