Cognitive functions of the motor system

The main theme of my research is motor cognition. I investigate the mirror mechanism in the monkey using single neuron recording techniques and the mirror mechanism in humans using fMRI and intracranially recording EEG. Other fields of my research are autism and the mirror mechanism-based action observation therapy.
