My current research activity is mainly focused on the transcriptional and chromatin-mediated control of inducible gene expression in inflammatory responses. We are investigating how the integration of cell intrinsic and environmental cues at genomic cis-regulatory elements specifies transcriptional outputs. More recently we started characterizing transcriptional mechanisms that control differentiation in human pancreatic cancer
