My lab studies how the cytoskeleton controls the mechanical properties of cells and tissues. We are particularly interested in how molecular and cellular properties interplay to control organisation at the tissue-scale and how changes in signalling can dynamically alter shape. For this, we combine molecular cell biology approaches with techniques and concepts from physics and engineering.
