My group in interested in understanding the basic molecular mechanisms that constitute the cell's machinery. Our lab investigates structural and functional details of macromolecules involved in cell cycle and genome integrity. We work at the interface between biology, physics and chemistry, using molecular biology, X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy to dissect these biological processes.
