Development of tools for personalized medicine.

My major research focus is cancer genomics and systems biology. My lab is partner in several large-scale sequencing projects, including the 1000 genomes, the ICGC as well as BLUEPRINT, which aims to systematically link epigenetic variation in blood cells with phenotypic plasticity. I am the scientific manager of the IMI OncoTrack project fusing NGS techniques with advanced bioinformatics analysis and modelling to improve treatment of cancer.
