Hematopoietic stem cells and immunology

My group focuses on in-vivo analyses by non-invasive fate mapping in mice of functions of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells under steady-state and pathological conditions. We have developed molecular and cellular tools to address the molecular control of thymus development, the enigmatic functions of mast cells, and the role of cell competition in preventing T cell leukemia.
