My group investigates genetic programs in neurons and glial cells that could be involved in enabling homeostasis under conditions of physiological perturbation. Our goal is to understand if and how cellular and tissue homeostasis in the adult brain could be regained after pathological insults. For this, we investigate healthy brain and diseases models, at the level of molecules, cells to circuit, behavior and cognition, using murine model systems.
