Mechanisms controlling human energy homeostasis

Our aim is to understand the molecular networks and physiological pathways involved in human energy homeostasis. Using genomic approaches to investigate the mechanisms underlying severe obesity and persistent thinness, our goal is to identify and validate control points that can be targeted for therapeutic manipulation.
