Tissue biomechanics in flies and human organoids

My lab studies how cytoskeletons organise within their natural environment, and how this environment influences cellular and tissue self-organisation. By combining Drosophila and human organoids with in vivo and in vitro biophysics, we study the contribution of cytoskeletons to cell function and epithelia architecture, to reveal how biomechanics contribute to morphogenesis in a broad range of epithelia.
