We are interested in organelle and protein quality control, and the roles played by autophagy and the ubiquitin system in these processes, with a special focus on neurodegenerative disease. We use a variety of approaches, including quantitative proteomics, biochemistry, and cell based screens to uncover underlying molecules and mechanisms. We are also interested in the global architecture of human protein interaction networks.
