The major contribution of my laboratory has been about the development of cryo-electrron microscopy. The thin film vitrification method is now in common use. CEMOVIS (cryo-EM of vitreous sections) is perhaps still to come. We took advantage of these mythological developments to study DNA, chromatin and viruses.
