Our group is interested in understanding how nuclear receptors, such as estrogen receptor (ER) and androgen receptor (AR), contribute to hormone-dependent cancer. We investigate the mechanisms involved in tumour formation and the events that occur in drug resistance and disease progression. We identify the components involved in these processes and develop and apply methods for therapeutic intervention.
