The main research activity of my group concerns the dissection of the phosphate (Pi) starvation signaling pathway in plants. Specifically, at present we are focused on the identification and analysis of (i) Pi sensing mechanisms and of (ii) control mechanisms of the Pi starvation transcriptional program and crosstalks with other developmental and stress response programs, using genetics, genomics, proteomics and natural variation-based approaches.
