My group develops and uses advanced imaging technologies (e.g., photoactivation, FRAP, single particle tracking, multispectral unmixing and PALM) to study the complexity of cell behaviors (e.g., cell crawling, polarity, cytokinesis, viral budding and intercellular transfer) and dynamism of subcellular organelles (e.g., ER, mitochondria, Golgi, endosomes, lysosomes, actomyosin filaments, microtubules, autophagosomes, peroxisomes and cilia) under both healthy and pathological conditions.
Keywords: Organelle dynamics / ER / mitochondria / Golgi / peroxisomes / lipid droplets / actin / secretory pathway / autophagy / super resolution imaging / multispectral imaging / single molecule tracking / HIV budding / ESCRTs
