Infectious diseases and global health
Jeremy Farrar's research interests are infectious diseases and global health. Before joining the Wellcome Trust, he was Director of the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit in Vietnam for 18 years. His work has contributed to better understanding, surveillance, prevention and treatment of diseases including emerging infections, influenza, tuberculosis, typhoid and dengue.
