Cell polarity and trafficking in plant development

My research focuses on the mechanisms underlying adaptive, flexible plant development, in particular, the action of plant hormone auxin and the mechanisms underlying its directional intercellular transport, subcellular auxin homeostasis, and formation of mophogenetic auxin gradients. Large part of my work is related to the cell biological problems of cell polarity, endocytosis, and subcellular protein trafficking.
