Our long term interest has been retina development and evolution, and we have recently established the heart as a second focus. We are following population genomics approaches using our medaka inbred panel to address genome-environment interactions for understanding the multi-genic contributions to development and disease in the context of the environment. In the future we will address regenerative and stem cell related phenotypes.
