Biophysical measurements in living bacteria
We study transcription regulation and replication initiation control in bacteria, combining theoretical and computational biology with the development of optical methods to observe single molecules in living cells. We are also developing tools for rapid diagnosis of antibiotic resistance, including approaches to identify pathogens in complex infections.
