Biological energy transduction processes

My research is centred on energy transduction in mammalian mitochondria, especially the structure, mechanism, regulation and assembly of the ATP synthase complex. Those interests extend to bacterial ATP synthases, and how they differ from the human enzyme, so as to develop new drugs to inhibit the bacterial enzymes selectively.
