Research in my laboratory aims at understanding the structures and functions of large endogenous macromolecular complexes, such as those involved in cellular protein homeostasis, cell-cell contacts, and viral infection. We mainly use cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM) to achieve this. We are also actively developing computational data analysis methods.
