Malaria: plasmodium-erythrocyte interactions
My group combines molecular and cellular mechanistic studies with large-scale genetic screens to explore the interactions between Plasmodium parasites and human erythrocytes, in order to identify and prioritise new malaria drug and vaccine targets. I am also passionately committed to public engagement with research and to collaboration and partnership with researchers in malaria endemic countries.
