Targeting RAS oncogene signaling

My lab is interested in the molecular mechanisms of cellular growth regulation and its subversion during the process of malignant transformation. We focus particularly on the RAS oncogene signaling pathways, seeking novel ways to selectively kill cells with mutant RAS or EGF receptor. In addition to studying multiple downstream effector proteins such as RAF and PI3-kinase, we are also using functional genomic approaches to identify unknown dependencies of these cells.
