Neural information processing in the visual system
We are interested in understanding how neural circuits extract relevant information from the sensory input to drive complex behavior. We combine two-photon imaging of neural activity with light stimulation and computational modeling to study visual information processing at the sub-cellular and population level in the retina and downstream visual brain areas in mice.
