My group wants to understand how plants integrate developmental and environmental cues to optimize organ growth. We study how plants coordinate cell proliferation and differentiation in a changing environment. We also investigate how plants establish and maintain cellular differentiation status and how various biotic or abiotic stimuli override the developmental commitments to undergo cellular reprogramming.
