The signaling and repair of DNA single- and double-strand breaks is critical for genome integrity and defects in this process are associated with a variety of neurological and/or cancer prone disorders. My group is focussed on identifying and characterising new components of DNA strand break repair reactions in mammalian cells and understanding the link between defects in these processes and human disease.
