My lab is interested in adult blood formation, one of the most sophisticated and biomedically relevant regenerative systems. We develop and apply novel genomics-based methods to approach this topic from new angles. Recently, we have focused on the analysis of clonal heterogeneity in leukemia and healthy hematopoiesis, as well as on the cis-regulatory encoding of lineage-specific gene expression during stem cell differentiation.
