My expertise is in endothelial cell signaling driven by the family of VEGF and VEGF receptors, in regulation of vessel physiology and vessel engagement in disease. A particular interest is in the regulation of vascular permeability, establishment of edema, and the cross-communication between the blood and lymphatic vasculature. Disease models in mice include retinopathies and cancer.
