Cell plasticity in health and disease

Our lab has been studying cell movements and plasticity for more than 20 years. In particular, we have studied the epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) during embryonic development and the impact that the reactivation of this developmental program has in adult disease.

Keywords: Early pattern formation / epithelial-mesenchymal transition / vertebrate development & evolution / tumor progression / Fibrosis / cell movements
