Protein synthesis, antibiotics, systems biology of bacterial growth
We investigate basal mechanisms of ribosome function with rapid kinetics techniques. We calibrate our biochemistry to in vivo conditions and use systems biology approaches for global modeling of the physiology of bacterial cells.
