Cell architecture and polarity

We are interested in the mechanisms regulating the symmetry and architecture of the cell cytoskeleton. Our aim is to unravel the physical processes underlying cytoskeleton self-organization processes and to formulate the rules directing their spatial organization. We focus our attention on the mechanisms regulating centrosome positioning and microtubule network geometry in response to the symmetry of the actin network.

Keywords: Cytoskeleton mechanics / micropattern / microtubule repair / centrosome / actin network organization
