My research is aimed at understanding the signalling pathways that drive cancer and promote invasion and metastasis. We are developing quantitative intra-vital imaging approaches to study the responses to genetic- or drug-based interventions. A key goal is to translate our work, such that we understand how the evolution of cancer driver pathway networks and tumour/host interactions in pre-clinical models and in patients promotes metastasis and therapeutic resistance.
