Evolutionary cell biology in nematodes
Our team addresses the cellular constraints that shape changes across species. We think free-living nematodes are ideal to address these questions. We combine comparative genomics with cellular and molecular genetics. Our main themes are to unravel the molecular and cellular basis at the origin of new reproductive strategies and to decipher the mechanisms and evolutionary origin of Programmed-DNA Elimination.
