Our group is working to understand how cellular membrane trafficking processes, such as endocytosis, are mediated by dynamic protein machineries. We are also interested in uncovering the mechanisms by which such processes evolve. We use various model organisms including budding and fission yeast.
Keywords: Membrane traffic / endocytosis / quantitative biology / clathrin / actin / evolutionary cell biology / live-cell imaging
