Function principles of the metabolic network

Life runs on thousands of biochemical reactions that interconnect in a system known as the metabolic network. Our lab develops technologies and studies the evolutionary origins and logic of this network, investigates how it responds and protects cells in stress situations, and how it interacts with genome and proteome in order to define the cell's phenotype.
