My research has focused on the structure of plant and fungal communities and the mechanisms that shape them. In particular, I have been interested in the diversity and distribution of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi, which form symbiotic associations with plant roots. I am currently involved in a project investigating the potential use of AM fungi in sustainable agriculture.
