Cell death control in inflammation and immunity

My group studies the molecular mechanisms that control cell death, innate immune signaling, and inflammation. Our research focuses on TNF/TNFR pathways, apoptosis, necroptosis and autophagy. Using biochemical, cellular and in vivo models, we investigate how cell death is normally prevented, how its dysregulation drives inflammatory diseases, and how these insights may reveal novel therapeutic targets.
