Our lab is primarily interested in the study of single cell behaviors, such as migration, growth and division, in the contexts of cancer development and immune responses. We use a combination of quantitative microscopy, micro-fabrication and physical modeling. We make the link between the fundamental properties of the active materials cells are made of, and their specific behavior in the complex environment of the tissues in which they reside.
