Our work focuses on ancient DNA and evolutionary genetics. This includes generating and analysing archaeogenomic data and developing tools to understand the human past, particularly social practices and structures. We work as part of the METU/Hacettepe Ancient DNA Lab. We have also done work on comparative genomics and transcriptomics, including looking into the mechanisms of brain aging, and the evolution of aging.
