Parasite glycobiology proteomics drug discovery

My current research areas are: (i) Nucleotide sugar (NS) biosynthesis in Trypanosoma brucei. (ii) Protein N-glycosylation in T. brucei. (iii) Glycoconjugate structure determination. (iv) Linking glycosyltransferase (GT) genes to GT function. (v) The application of quantitative mass spectrometry to parasite biology, including organellomes, drug targets, proteome-wide turnover, parasite protein complexes and through the cell cycle.
