Synthetic developmental biology
Our group utilizes organoids of multiple mammalian species ('organoid zoo') to study the biophysical principles underlying species-specific developmental time and tissue morphology. We also develop synthetic biology tools to manipulate organoids to ultimately convert tissues of one species to another.
